Cal-CSU Bakersfield Postgame Notes

  • Sophomore Don Coleman led the Bears with 26 points, his most ever in a Cal uniform and his fourth double-figure performance of the season. Coleman, who made his first career start, nearly doubled his previous Cal-best of 15 points set on January 5 at UCLA.
  • After shooting 16.7 percent (4-24) in the first half, the Bears found their touch in the second half, shooting 46.7 percent (14-30) from the floor.'
  • Cal shot 36.8 percent (7-19) from beyond the arc, the fourth consecutive game in which the Golden Bears shot better than 33 percent from three-point range.
  • Junior center  Kingsley Okoroh blocked one shot against the Roadrunners, bringing his season total to 74 and breaking a tie with David Kravish for the most blocks in a single season in program history. Okoroh's 134 career blocks rank third all-time in Cal men's basketball history.
  • Senior Roger Moute a Bidias went a perfect 2-2 from the foul line, tying his career high for most three-pointers in a single game. Moute a Bidias ended the night with 8 points, his most in any game since scoring 9 against UC Davis on December 10, 2016.
  • Cole Welle grabbed a career-high 7 rebounds for the Bears. Entering Tuesday's game, Welle had just 12 rebounds on the season.
  • Cal's seniors close their careers with a record of 83-53 over the last four seasons, including a 59-15 mark at Haas Pavilion.
