Franklin Wins Sullivan AAU Award

@CalWomensSwimmingandDiving on Facebook | Decorated swimming star Missy Franklin - the incoming California Golden Bear and U.S. Olympic medalist - garnered another major award when the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) named her its 2012 James E. Sullivan Award winner on April 16. The award honors the nation's outstanding amateur athletes.

13 Bears Earn Pac-12 Academic Honors

Thirteen members of the California women's swimming & diving team earned selection to the Pac-12 All-Academic teams, Commissioner Larry Scott announced on Friday. Sophomore swimmers Casey Mims and Caroline Piehl led the way with second-team status.

McKeever, Pelton Sweep Pac-12 Awards

Another banner year for the California women's swimming & diving program resulted in more hardware for decorated head coach Teri McKeever and swimmer Elizabeth Pelton, as the Pac-12 Conference named McKeever its Pac-12 Coach of the Year and named Pelton its Pac-12 Swimmer of the Year and its Freshman/Newcomer of the Year.

Planned Facility to Benefit Cal Aquatics Programs

In order to enhance the training environment for the Golden Bears' nationally ranked swimming & diving and water polo programs, a privately funded new facility is being considered to be built along Bancroft Way adjacent to the Tang Center.
