Racing as `Team Jill' once again, No. 2 California women's rowing swept all four races from No. 10 Stanford in the Big Row Saturday morning at Redwood Shores. The Golden Bears retained the Lambert Cup, awarded to the winner of the varsity eight race between the two crews, for the fourth-straight year.

Cal Clashes With Stanford In Big Row Saturday

No. 2 California women's rowing looks to retain the Lambert Cup for the fourth year in a row when it meets No. 10 Stanford in The Big Row on Saturday at Redwood Shores. The Lambert Cup is awarded annually to the winner of the varsity eight race. Cal and Stanford will once again race in honor of Jill Costello with the Bears donning their aquamarine (Costello's favorite color) uniforms and competing as Team Jill.
