James Looney and the Golden Bears fly back into action for spring football practices starting March 15 (Cal.ISIPhotos.com)
BERKELEY – Cal will begin more than a month of spring football practices at California Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, March 15. The Golden Bears will hold a total of 15 spring practices including three open to the public with the first on Friday, March 24 (3:30 pm PT). The other two open practice sessions will be April 8 and April 22 on a pair of Saturdays with start times both days at 11 am PT. The Pac-12 Networks will televise the Cal Football Spring Game live on April 22.

Justin Wilcox. "We have been putting the foundation in place with our off-season strength and conditioning program and getting on the field will signal the next step in our preparation for the 2017 campaign."

PRO DAY – MARCH 24, 2017 (9 AM PT)
Cal will also hold its annual Pro Day during the midst of spring football sessions at California Memorial Stadium on Friday, March 24. The event will feature former Golden Bears that are professional football prospects working out for front office personnel, coaches and scouts from all 32 NFL teams expected be in attendance at the event. The public portion of the event is expected to begin at approximately 10 am PT with stadium gates to open at 9:30 am PT. Admission is free.

SPRING GAME – APRIL 22, 2017 (11 AM PT)
The annual Cal Football Spring Game is an admission free interactive event that gives thousands of Cal fans an opportunity to better get to know players and coaches in the Cal football program. The wide array of Cal Football Spring Game activities scheduled to take place include opportunities for fans to interact with Cal football student-athletes and coaches; a commemorative poster giveaway; and much more to be announced at later dates.

2017 CAL FOOTBALL
The 2017 Cal football season will feature six home games including three consecutive contests in the first month of the season in September at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley. The home schedule opens with a non-conference game against Weber State (Sept. 9) followed by a visit from Ole Miss of the Southeastern Conference (Sept. 16) and the Pac-12 opener against USC (Sept. 23). Cal will also host Pac-12 contests against Washington State (Friday, Oct. 13) and Arizona (Oct. 21) in the season's second month before closing out its home schedule with Oregon State (Nov. 4).
The road slate includes the season-opener at North Carolina (Sept. 2) followed by Pac-12 away games at Oregon (Sept. 30), Washington (Oct. 7), Colorado (Oct. 28), Stanford (Nov. 18) and UCLA (Friday, Nov. 24).
The Pac-12 Championship Game at Levi's® Stadium is scheduled to be played either Friday, Dec. 1 or Saturday, Dec. 2.
Television coverage and kickoff times will all be announced at later dates.
Cal football season-ticket renewals are now underway. The deadline to renew your season tickets and save is February 20. Fans who were not 2016 season-ticket holders can place a $100 deposit now to secure seats at California Memorial Stadium for the 2017 campaign. CALIFORNIA MEMORIAL STADIUM LOCATION/PARKING/TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
Location – California Memorial Stadium is located on Piedmont Avenue in Berkeley between Bancroft Way and Stadium Rim Way, adjacent to the Simpson Center for Student-Athlete High Performance at 2227 Piedmont Avenue. Parking in the vicinity is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to read all signs at each parking location for further important information. See below for some suggestions in order of proximity to the stadium.
Stadium Parking Structure – Paid parking near the corner of Gayley Road (where Piedmont Avenue becomes Gayley Road) and Stadium Rim Way just north of the stadium.
Street Parking – Paid and two-hour free parking may be available on streets near the stadium.
Witter Lot – Paid parking near the corner of Centennial Drive and Stadium Rim Way just east of the stadium.
Lower Sproul Garage – Paid parking on north side of Bancroft Way between Telegraph Avenue and Dana Street.
Recreational Sports Facility Garage – Paid parking on north side of Bancroft Way between Dana Street and Ellsworth Street.
Underhill Garage – Paid parking located on corner of Channing Way and College Avenue.
