  • Cal is now 5-7 in the all-time series with the Aztecs and snapped a four-game losing streak in the series.
  • This is Cal's first win in a true non-conference road game since Dec. 7, 2014, when the Bears defeated Nevada 63-56.
  • This is Cal's first win in a true road game since a 68-34 victory over Arizona State on Feb. 8, 2017.
  • The Golden Bears limited the Aztecs to 62 points. Entering the game, San Diego State was averaging 80.8 points.
  • Cal went with a new starting lineup for the fourth time in 10 games. Starters -- Darius McNeill, Don Coleman, Nick Hamilton, Justice Sueing and Marcus Lee.
  • 3 Golden Bears scored in double figures -- Don Coleman (19), Justice Sueing (12) and Darius McNeill (10)
  • Don Coleman set a career-high assist total with 5, topping his previous high of 4, and pulled down a new career-high 7 rebounds, up from 5.
  • Coleman has scored in double figures in all but one outing this year.
  • Darius McNeill has now hit at least one three-pointer in every single one of his collegiate appearances, for a streak of 10 consecutive games. He also has seven games with multiple three-point makes, including 2 three-pointers in today's action.
  • McNeill scored in double figures for the seventh time in the last eight games.
  • Justice Sueing set a new season-high steal total with 4, topping his previous best of 3.
