  • The Golden Bears improve to 7-7 on the season, and 1-0 in conference play.
  • This is California's first win at Maples Pavilion since 2014. The Bears last defeated Stanford in Cardinal territory on Jan. 2, 2014, 69-62, in the Pac-12 season opener.
  • Cal is 7-3 in the last 10 season openers.
  • Starters – Darius McNeill, Don Coleman, Nick Hamilton, Justice Sueing and Marcus Lee
  • Four Bears scored in double figures – Marcus Lee (19), Justice Sueing (18), Don Coleman (15) and Darius McNeill (13)
  • The Bears outscored the Cardinal 53-37 in the second half. Cal's 53 second-half points are a new high for points in a half.
  • With 5 blocks tonight, Cal tallied 5 or more blocks for the 12th time this season. The Bears are averaging 6.1 blocks per game.
  • This is only the second time all season that Cal earned the win after trailing at halftime.
  • Roman Davis matched a career-high 3 rebounds, and a season-high 3 points.
