Cal-Saint Mary's Postgame Notes

  • Marcus Lee led the Bears with a career-high 23 points, shooting 10-for-14 from the floor. In five home games this season, he is averaging 16.6 ppg and shooting 32-of-51 (62.7%). Lee's previous best was 21 points vs. Cal Poly on Nov. 12.
  • Nick Hamilton finished with a career-high 16 points (7-7 FG, 2-2 3P) in a career-best 31 minutes. His previous best was 5 points vs. Wofford on Nov. 16 earlier this fall. The last Cal player to shoot at least six shots without a miss was Robert Thurman vs. UNLV on March 21, 2013, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (6-6).
  • Kingsley Okoroh recorded 2 blocks to increase his career total to 157, which ranks third on Cal's all-time list.
  • As a team, Cal registered 6 blocks to increase its season total to 52.
  • Cal had a season-low 11 free throw attempts. The previous low was 20 vs. Wofford on Nov. 16.
  • Cal's 63 total points were a season low.
  • Cal and Saint Mary's will meet again in Moraga next season before returning to Haas Pavilion in 2019-20 to complete the three-game series.
