Darius McNeill started his night a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor, including five makes behind the 3-point line. He finished the game with a career-high 22 points, topping the 18 points he had vs. Chaminade last week. McNeill has reached double figures in scoring in each of his past five games.
Juhwan Harris-Dyson, in his first career start, totaled a career-high 10 points. He had scored a total of 10 points all year heading into the game.
Cal produced its highest scoring half of the season when the Bears poured in 48 points in the first half. They led, 48-30, at the break.
Cal is now 7-0 all-time against Cal State Northridge and played the Matadors for the first time since the 2010-11 season tonight.
As a team, Cal blocked 11 shots, tying the school record for blocks in a game. The Bears have blocked 11 shots in a game four times previously, most recently vs. Washington State on Jan. 12, 2013.
Kingsley Okoroh blocked 6 shots to increase his career total to 155, which ranks third in Cal history. The 6 blocks are one off his career high.
Marcus Lee's 4 blocks were a season best.
Don Coleman totaled 15 points and has now scored in double figures in all seven games this season.
As a team, Cal shot 51.7% from the floor (30-58), the third consecutive home game they have been above 50%.
