Cal-CSUN Postgame Notes

  • Darius McNeill started his night a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor, including five makes behind the 3-point line. He finished the game with a career-high 22 points, topping the 18 points he had vs. Chaminade last week. McNeill has reached double figures in scoring in each of his past five games.
  • Juhwan Harris-Dyson, in his first career start, totaled a career-high 10 points. He had scored a total of 10 points all year heading into the game.
  • Cal produced its highest scoring half of the season when the Bears poured in 48 points in the first half. They led, 48-30, at the break.
  • Cal is now 7-0 all-time against Cal State Northridge and played the Matadors for the first time since the 2010-11 season tonight.
  • As a team, Cal blocked 11 shots, tying the school record for blocks in a game. The Bears have blocked 11 shots in a game four times previously, most recently vs. Washington State on Jan. 12, 2013.
  • Kingsley Okoroh blocked 6 shots to increase his career total to 155, which ranks third in Cal history. The 6 blocks are one off his career high.
  • Marcus Lee's 4 blocks were a season best.
  • Don Coleman totaled 15 points and has now scored in double figures in all seven games this season.
  • As a team, Cal shot 51.7% from the floor (30-58), the third consecutive home game they have been above 50%.
