BERKELEY – The 2017 Cal football schedule announced Wednesday by the Pac-12 Conference will feature six home games including three consecutive contests in September at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley. The home schedule in the season's first month opens with a non-conference game against Weber State (Sept. 9) followed by a visit from Ole Miss of the Southeastern Conference (Sept. 16) and the Pac-12 opener against USC (Sept. 23).

Cal will host Pac-12 contests against Washington State (Friday, Oct. 13) and Arizona (Saturday, Oct. 21) in the season's second month before closing out its home schedule against Oregon State (Saturday, Nov. 4).

The Golden Bears open the season and make their debut under first-year head coach Justin Wilcox on the road at North Carolina on Sept. 2. Cal is playing each of its non-conference opponents (North Carolina, Weber State, Ole Miss) for the first time in school history.

After its conference opener at home against the Trojans, Cal hits the road for back-to-back Pac-12 games in the Northwest at Oregon (Sept. 30) and Washington (Oct. 7). Wilcox spent two seasons coaching at both USC and Washington while he played for the Ducks.

Cal returns to the road against 2016 Pac-12 South Division champion Colorado on Oct. 28 and after playing its home finale against Oregon State has a bye before wrapping up the regular season with two more road contests in the 120th Big Game at Stanford (Nov. 18) and a Friday tilt at the Rose Bowl against UCLA (Nov. 24).

The Pac-12 Championship Game between the North and South Division winners will be played either Friday, Dec. 1 or Saturday, Dec. 2 at Levi's Stadium® in Santa Clara.

The full schedules for all Pac-12 teams were announced Wednesday by the conference.

Cal football season-ticket renewals are now underway.
