Cal-Seton Hall Postgame Notes

  • The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Cal, the longest since the Bears carried a seven-game streak from Feb. 6 to Feb. 28 last season.
  • This was Cal's first meeting with Seton Hall since Dec. 8, 1973. The Bears are now 1-1 against the Pirates
  • Jabari Bird matched his career-high rebound total with 9, falling one rebound shy of a double-double.
  • Bird's 22 points are a season-high, topping his previous best of 14 against South Dakota State on Nov. 11. He fell two points shy of his career-high 24 points.
  • With 12 points, Charlie Moore scored in double figures for the seventh game this season.
  • Kingsley Okoroh added 2 blocks to his career total, bringing the amount to 87. He is currently eighth all-time, behind Brian Hendrick (1990-93, 98 blocks).
