Tre Watson rushed for a career-high 134 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns. His previous career high was 110 rushing yards against Oregon State last year.
 
Khalfani Muhammad also finished with a career high rushing, totaling 165 yards on 21 carries, including a 50-yard touchdown rush in the fourth quarter. His previous best was 164 yards on the ground last year at Texas.
 
Cal's 317 rushing yards are a season high, topping the 189 the Bears had in their opener vs. Hawaii. The last time Cal ran for more yards was when the Bears had 318 rushing yards at Washington State in 2012.
 
Cal and Oregon State combined to set a Cal record for most rushing yards by both teams in one game with 791 yards (Cal – 317, Oregon State – 474). The previous mark was 758 yards in a Cal-Pacific game ion Sept. 20, 1958 (Cal –350, Pacific – 408).
 
Tonight's game was Cal's first to go into overtime since the Bears posted a 59-56 double OT victory over Colorado on Sept. 27, 2014 in Berkeley.
 
Raymond Davison returned his first career interception for a touchdown in the second quarter. It was Cal's first interception returned for a touchdown since Devante Downs against Grambling State in 2015. Cam Walker also returned an INT for a touchdown in that game vs. Grambling State. Cal's last defensive touchdown was a 47-yard fumble return by Stefan McClure against Washington State in 2015. Davison's 39-yard return is the longest since Marc Anthony (61) vs. Southern Utah in 2012.
 
Davis Webb rushed for his third touchdown of the season in the third quarter, which also gives him 25 total touchdowns in 2016.
 
Matt Anderson made fields goals from 27, 29 and 39 yards, with the final one coming in over time. Dating back to last season, he has made 25 of his last 27 field goal attempts.
 
Trey Turner caught his second career interception in the second quarter.
 
Today was Cal's fifth straight game decided by 10 or fewer points.
 
Dylan Klumph completed a pass to Evan Weaver on a fake punt in the first quarter. It was the first time a Cal punter completed a pass since Cole Leininger against Stanford in 2013.
 
This was the first time since the first half against Stanford last year that the Cal offense did not score a touchdown in the first half.
 
Cal scored 20 consecutive points during one stretch – 17 in a row in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime and the first three of the extra period.
