We were on hand inside California Memorial Stadium this morning as the first sections of the state-of-the-art Matrix synthetic turf were installed. Here is video from the field of the first 15-foot wide section which will be the 40-45 yard line being laid into place at 9:32 a.m. this morning. You can hear workers cheer in the background during this monumental event in the project.





The second section (30-35 yard line) was laid into place at 10:16 a.m. (PT) this morning. Here is video from up top of the stadium of this piece being unraveled into place.
