What is The Bench?
"The Bench" is the official student rooting section for all Cal Men's Basketball home games. Members of The Bench faithfully stand for the entire game, from the moment the Golden Bears run onto the Pete Newell Court playing floor. Bench members also proudly don the annual Bench Shirt, which students receive when purchasing student season tickets for Cal Men's Basketball.
Haas Pavilion is widely recognized as the loudest arena in the Pac-10 Conference, and The Bench takes pride in designing fun and unique ways to support the Bears while creating a hostile and imposing environment for opposing teams.
