Cal Freshmen Free Admission

 NOTE: The last day to register for freshmen and transfer student free admission for 2004 Cal Football was Friday, October 1.

Now that the deadline to register for free student admission has passed, freshmen and transfer students may purchase general admission or reserved tickets (for seating outside the Cal Student Section) on a single game basis only - while they last. Big Game tickets ($50 each) are going fast and expected to sell out soon. Tickets may be purchased at CalBears.com or the Cal Athletic Ticket Office.

No student discounts are offered on single game tickets. Please call (510) 642-3277 for information.

• Cal Freshmen Free program includes free admission to the first four home games and the opportunity to purchase a reserved ticket to the Big Game vs. Stanford (Nov. 20) at Memorial Stadium for only $35!

• Purchase your 2004 Cal Football GameDay T-shirt for only $12 at the Cal Student Store on campus or online at CalBears.com. This shirt is the official shirt worn by the Cal Student Section at the games!

FRESHMEN FREE TICKETS

Once again this year, Cal Athletics will welcome new Cal students by offering free admission to all incoming freshmen and transfer undergraduate students. Starting August 1, eligible freshmen and transfer students may register for free admission to four home games (Stanford game not included, but Freshmen Free participants may purchase a reserved ticket to the Big Game game for just $35).

Freshmen and incoming transfer students must register in advance to receive complimentary admission to the first four home games. It's easy! Simply follow the same instructions for student online orders (see details below in bold text), by creating your online account and registering for "Freshmen Free" admission.

At the games, all students must present their valid Cal Student ID and will be admitted via the ticketless entry system at the Student Gate (south side of Memorial Stadium).

Freshmen and transfer students may purchase the official 2004 Cal Football GameDay Shirt for just $12 when registering online or at the Cal Student Store on campus. The official shirt is worn by the entire Cal Student Section at the games. All other students who pay for season tickets (sophomores - seniors, grad students) receive a complimentary shirt with their ticket purchase.

SEASON TICKET ELIGIBILITY

Your online application request will not be valid until you are officially registered at Cal for the 2004 Fall Semester.
To be officially registered at Cal, you must meet the following three criteria:

  • You must be enrolled in at least one course.
  • You must have no blocks against your registration.
  • You must have paid your fees in full or made your first payment through the deferred payment program.

Please note that all freshmen in the Fall Program for Freshmen through the UC Extension office are eligible for free admission to the first four home games, and may now register online or apply in person at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office. Students may also purchase a Big Game ticket for $17, while supplies last.

Married/Domestic Partners must apply in person at the Athletic Ticket Office, 2223 Fulton Street, 1st Floor, and provide valid documentation of married/domestic partnership.

  • If you have previously registered online using your Student ID, log in using your Student ID and password. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link to have your password emailed to you.
  • If you have never registered online before, click on the "Register Now" link and follow the steps to register online using your Student ID number.
  • When you have successfully registered, your Student Season Ticket Application(s) will be displayed.
  • Designate "1" in the order box.
  • Once again this season, there is no need to pick up your tickets. Our Ticketless Entry system will continue to allow you to use your Student ID for admittance to all home games.
  • If desired, purchase your GameDay Shirt by using a valid credit card. Shirts may be picked up on campus at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office in August. Please note that once your order has been completed, you will not be able to access your account again to purchase a GameDay Shirt or Big Game ticket.
  • Student admission is not transferable.
