Schroeder Names KAP 7 MPSF Player of the Week
Sophomore driver
Tiera Schroeder was named the KAP 7 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week after her performance at the Stanford Invitational last weekend. Schroeder scored nine goals, including five in a victory over No. 11 Hawaii. She added three in a win over No. 8 San Jose State in the Third Place Game. Schroeder leads the Bears with 13 goals.
Csikos Heats Up
After scoring one goal in the first two matches of the season, senior All-American Emily Csikos tallied eight scores in the four matches last weekend. That included four in a 12-7 victory over No. 14 Indiana. Csikos, a three-time All-American, is back in the pool this season for the Bears after sitting out the 2012 campaign to train with the Canadian National Team. Csikos now has 177 goals in her career, which is fourth on the school's all-time list. She needs 36 goals to become the Bears' all-time leading scorer.

The tourney runner-up also has a strong chance at earning an at-large berth to the NCAAs.
