January 26, 2009 BERKELEY - Emily Csikos began her California career with a bang, scoring six goals over three games in two days at the season-opening Michigan Kickoff for women's water polo, making the freshman driver the Muscle Milk California Student-Athlete of the Week. Csikos paced the Golden Bears with two goals in their first game of the 2009 campaign, an 8-6 victory over host No. 10 Michigan on Jan. 24. The Calgary, Alberta, Canada, native added a goal in the 12-3 defeat of Indiana also on Jan. 24. In the final game of the tournament, Csikos again led the Bears, this time with three goals. Csikos' three scores helped lift Cal to a 9-5 victory over No. 14 Cal State Northridge on Jan. 25. Muscle Milk California Student-Athletes of the Week
