BERKELEY, Calif. - Cal's women's water polo team played a series of exhibition matches against the Canadian Women's National Team last weekend at Spieker Pool, taking on both the Canadian Senior National Team and Canadian Youth National Team.

"Canada has one of the best women's teams in the world and it was a great start to the year for us to be able to play against them," Cal coach Richard Corso said. "We are fortunate to have a program here at Cal that is able to attract this level of competition."

The matches provided a unique experience for Cal's Breda Vosters, Emily Csikos and Kelly McKee, who all are part of the Canadian National Team program. Vosters, Csikos and McKee each played some matches for the Bears and some with Canada over the weekend.

The Bears will be back in the pool on Nov. 11 for the Stanford Fall Invitational.
