Third-Ranked Cal Downs UC San Diego in Women's Water Polo

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Colette Glinkowski scored three goals and Beth Irwin added two goals as third-ranked Cal downed 10th-ranked UC San Diego, 10-3, at UCSD's Canyonview Pool Tuesday. The Bears jumped out to a 4-1 first quarter lead and never looked back as the Tritons were able to convert on just one of eight six-on-five advantages.

UCSD goals were scored by Jenny Irwin, Angie Kondrat and Kathryn Ozaki. The Tritons, coming off a third place finish at the Claremont Invitational, fell to 5-12 on the season, while Cal improved to 14-3. The Tritons' next game will be Friday, April 3, when they host the University of Redlands at 6:00 p.m.
