BERKELEY- With two goals in each of the first two quarters, Cal held the lead at half time, 4-2. However, the Anteaters fought back, scoring three in a row in the third to tie the game at fives. This effort was not enough to fend off the Bears' offense which took back the lead with three more goals to the Anteaters' one for a final score of 8-6 and a victory for Cal. The Bears' Breda Vosters and Ashley Young led the team's offense with three goals apiece. Sophomores Kelly Mendoza and Kirstn Mase also added goals for the Bears. Cal's goalkeeper Lindsay Dorst tallied four saves in the game.
