October 15, 2007 BERKELEY - Senior middle hitter Angie Pressey matched her career high for kills in a match with 25 against Washington last Thursday, creating momentum for the Bears in their 3-2, come-from-behind victory over the No. 8-ranked Huskies and making her this week's California Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week. Pressey's sky-high 25 kills against Washington came via 60 attacks, another new career high for her in a match. Her 14 digs gave her a double-double for the match. She averaged a .347 hitting percentage while earning 5.67 points a game. Pressey had six of the 15 points needed in the final game to seal the deal for the Bears against the Huskies. Pressey proceeded to collect five kills on nine attempts the following day against Washington State before sitting for the rest of the match. Pressey currently sits at No. 6 on Cal's all-time career records for hitting percentage. Her 1,439 kills are third all-time and her 3,579 attempts are fourth all-time.
