BERKELEY - Tarah Murrey helped lead the Golden Bears to two 3-0 victories this weekend, making the California junior outside hitter Muscle Milk California Student-Athlete of the Week.

Murrey earned MVP honors at the Cal Molten Classic as she tied a career mark with 21 kills against UC Santa Barbara and a remarkable .395 attack percentage (4e, 43att). Her efficiency helped Cal log a .318 attack rate as a team. Murrey had 11 kills (1e, 23att, .435) against Manhattan College in her second match, but was even more impressive on defense as she put up 14 digs to log a double-double.
