The California volleyball team has begun spring practice sessions and will be participating in several exhibition matches during the next month. All matches are open to the public and are free admission. Please call the Cal volleyball office for more information at (510) 642-9412

The Golden Bears will be at Stanford this Friday (April 4) in a 5:30 p.m. start. Next, Cal will travel to Sacramento State on the morning of April 19 (Saturday) for two matches as part of the Sac State Spring Tournament. On April 22 (Tuesday), the Bears will take on USF in a 9 a.m. scrimmage. Cal will conclude spring practices with a scrimmage at St. Mary's on May 2 (Friday) at 5 p.m.

Last season, Cal made history by winning the NCAA Tournament Wisconsin Regional to advance to the Championship semifinal in Sacramento, Calif. The Bears set records in total team blocks and completed the season with a 26-8 overall record, 12-6 in the Pac-10 Conference.
