California volleyball middle hitter Kat Brown will chat live with fans on Feb. 8.

BERKELEY - CalBears.com will host a one-hour live chat via CoverItLive with California volleyball middle hitter Kat Brown on Tuesday, Feb. 8, beginning at 4 p.m. PT. Fans can point their browsers to CalBears.com--the official athletic website of the University of California--and navigate to the volleyball home page to access the chat module. Registration is not required.

Brown received Pac-10 All-Conference and All-Academic honorable mention as a sophomore and led the league in blocks (1.35 bps, 16th in the country). She also ranked sixth in the conference in hitting percentage (.358). Her 151 blocks in 2010 ranked fourth all-time at Cal for single-season marks. Her hitting percentage also put her in the top five at Cal for single-season hitting percentage. Brown posted career highs for kills (13 vs. UCLA, Nov. 6), attacks (25 at USC, Oct. 9), blocks (10 at UCLA, Oct. 8), and points (19.5 vs. UCLA, Nov. 6) in 2010.
