Cal Volleyball Beats Murray State

NORMAL, Ill.-- California women's volleyball raised its record to 3-1 by downing previously unbeaten Murray State 15-6, 15-4, 15-11.

Amanda Shelby lead the Golden Bears with 12 kills, while Jessica Dineberg's 11 digs helped a Cal defense which limited Murray State to hitting percentage of .019 and out-blocked Murray State 10-3 in team stats.

California plays Tulsa Saturday Sept. 6. at 9:30 a.m. and Illinois State in tournament finale at 4:30 p.m.
