Women's Volleyball Loses to Washington

BERKELEY, Calif. - The University of Californis women's volleyball team lost to No. 12 Washington State Friday at the RSF Fieldhouse. The 8-15, 15-17, 15-7, 10-15 loss drops the Bears to 8-17 overall, 3-13 in the Pac-10. Washington State rolls to 22-5, 10-5 in conference play.

The Bears were led by Jessica Dinaberg's match high 21 kills and 10 digs. The suporting cast of Kelle Alva, Brook Coulter and Alicia Perry chipped in 11, 15 and 16 kills, respectively. The Bears hit .210, blocked 6 shots and committed 11 service errors.

Jennifer Stinson was driving the Cougars with 17 kills and 10 digs. WSU had 18 blocks and had three other players with double-digit kills.
