Women's Volleyball Falls to No.7 USC

LOS ANGELES, Calif.-The No.7 USC women's volleyball team defeated California, 15-6, 15-6, 12-15, 15-13, in a PAC-10 Conference match in front of 689 at the North Gym on Saturday.

California dropped to 6-8 overall, 1-4 in the PAC-10. USC improved to 11-2, 4-2.

The Bears had 3 players with double figures in kills, led by sophomore outside hitter Brook Coulter's 13.

Cal looked like it might send the match to a fifth game, leading in game 4, 13-11. But USC rallied with 4 consecutive points as junior middle blocker Alaina Kipps ended the match with her eighth kill.
