Sept. 30, 2011 • Freshman Christina Higgins set a new career high in both kills and points - tallying 11 each - besting her previous bests of nine kills and 10 points, both of which were achieved against UCLA on Sept. 24 • Tarah Murrey tied for the match-high with 13 kills and had a team-best 12 digs to secure her third straight double-double - and sixth of the season • Elly Barrett handed out a career-high 43 assists, besting her old high of 41 against Stanford • Barrett also recorded 11 digs for her fourth double-double of the year • Shannon Hawari set new season-highs with 13 kills and 14.5 points, topping her previous bests of 12 kills (against USC on Sept. 23) and 14 points (against FIU on Aug. 27) • The Bears' 51 kills tied for second most this season, only three behind the 54 they had against Stanford • For the fourth time this season, three different Bears had double-digit digs - Murrey with 12, Barrett with 11, and Rostratter with 10 • Also for the fourth time this year, Cal had three student-athletes with double-digit kills - Murrey with 13, Hawari with 13, and Higgins with 11 • Cal has won the past three meetings against the Wildcats and 10 of last 12 to bring the all-time series record to 19-35 • The 3-0 victory was the Bears' 13th sweep of the season, with all but one of their wins coming in sweeps
