As Cal's first All-American setter, Lloyd enters her JUNIOR season with the Golden Bears... helped the USA A2 Blue team to a bronze medal at the USA Adult Open Championship over the summer.

2008
As a SOPHOMORE, Lloyd was selected to the AVCA All-America second team and the UnderArmour/Volleyball Magazine Women's College All-American second team... named to the All-Pac-10 team and the AVCA All-Pacific Region team... selected for Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention... chosen as outstanding setter and MVP of both the Cal Molten Classic and the Golden Bear Invitational... named to the all-tournament team at the Diet Coke Classic and the Crowne Plaza Volleyball Classic... selected as Pac-10 Player of the Week twice (Aug. 31 and Oct. 20)... named Sports Imports/AVCA Division I National Player of the Week (Oct. 20)... led the team and ranked third in the nation with 12.00 assists per set... her 1,392 assists rank sixth for Cal all-time single season records... second on the team with 281 digs (2.42 dps) and third on the team in service aces (17) and hitting percentage (.319, 96k, 27e, 216att)... reached a new career high with seven kills at Arizona State Nov. 8... matched career highs in service aces (three) and digs (18 against UCLA Nov. 21)... helped the USA A2 Red Team to an Adult Open title in Atlanta, Ga., over the summer.

As a FRESHMAN, Lloyd earned Pac-10 All-Freshman team honors as she led the Bears in total assists with 1,550 (second-best Cal all-time single-season total) and a 12.81 assist per set average... named to the NCAA Wisconsin Regional all-tournament team (the first Cal freshman to receive the honor)... appeared in 34 matches and all but two of Cal's 121 sets as a true freshman... finished the season fourth on the team in total blocks with 111 (7bs, 104ba)... logged seven double-double matches this season... registered a career-high 18 digs against UCLA Sept. 27 to go with 54 assists... set a career-high mark by putting up 69 assists at USC Oct. 26... helped Cal to a historic victory at UCLA Oct. 27 with 63 assists and 13 digs... had 65 assists and 17 digs versus Duke Dec. 1 in the NCAA second round... named Outstanding Setter of the Cal Molten Classic and the Golden Bear Invitational Outstanding Setter.

Tomlinson is better known as Turbo from the 1980's television series, American Gladiator... grandfather, Doug Tomlinson, is a former MLB player with the Cleveland Indians... sister, Coral, 23, and brother, Doug, 22... has not declared a major.
