• Has been on numerous watch lists including the AVCA/Under Armour High School All-American watch list and was on the ESPN Rise Player to Watch List

• Named to the USA Singapore Youth World Olympic Team and led her squad to a silver-medal finish and helped guide Sports Shack Volleyball Club to the gold medal at the 2010 Junior National Championships

• Captained the Sports Shack Co-Captioned to back-to-back Championship Title in 2011 and named to the 2011 Junior National Championship All Tournament Team

• Three-time All-Mission League selection (2008-10) and thrice helped lead Harvard-Westlake to the league titles

• Thrice named to the honor roll and served four years as Harvard-Westlake's Student Ambassador

• As a varsity starter, was a three-time All-Mission League selection (2008-10), led her high school team to Mission League Championship Titles and named the 2010 Mission League MVP

• Gained her first International experience after being selected to the Southern California Volleyball Association's 2009 Global Challenge Team, with which she trained and competed in Italy and Croatia, leading her team to a fifth place finish

• Mother is Kathryn Higgins, who attended UC Irvine, and father is Clifford Higgins, and he went to Cal State Northridge

• Has an older sister, Krystle, who is a junior at Boston College and plays volleyball for the Eagles

• Father played basketball at Cal State Northridge, where he is currently in the Hall of Fame and was drafted by the Warriors

• Born Aug. 15, 1993 and in Riverside, Calif.

• Also enjoys reading, watching TV and movies with a predilection for Disney movies, and bike riding

• One cousin graduated from Cal in May and another who will be a senior this year
