Cardinal Wins Set One but Bears Recover

As a Sophomore (2011):

• Named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team

• Key member of the back row, playing in 107 of Cal's 116 sets

• Averaged 1.57 digs per set, 168 for the season

As a Freshman (2010):

• Posted career high of 13 digs at USC (Oct. 9) and two assists versus Washington (Oct. 16)

• Saw time in 29 matches, playing in 90 sets as a defensive specialist

• Grabbed 151 digs across the season

High School/Club:

• As a senior at Sir Francis Drake High School, Freeman became the only player in Marin County Athletic League history to be named Player of the Year in two consecutive years

• Served as team captain as a junior and as a senior

• Named to the MCAL all-league first team in 2007
