California volleyball assistant coach Matt McShane has been named head coach at the U.S. Air Force Academy, head coach Rich Feller announced Tuesday, Jan. 26. After helping guide the Golden Bears to the most successful five-year run in program history, McShane will succeed 14-year Falcon head coach Penny Lucas-White as Air Force's ninth head coach. Cal was 114-47 overall and 55-35 in Pac-10 matches and produced seven AVCA All-America selections with McShane on the bench. He was most recently selected as one of Volleyball Magazine's 10 Best Assistant Coaches. FULL STORY
