ATLANTA - The AT&T Winter National Championships ended with strong swims by California alumnae as well as a future Golden Bear on Saturday night at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. Former Golden Bear Dana Vollmer took third in the 100-meter freestyle, while future Bear Elizabeth Pelton took third in the 200-meter backstroke.

Vollmer posted a time of 54.88 in the 100-free championship final, which included former teammate Hannah Wilson, who was seventh in a time of 55.48.

Pelton - a member of the stellar recruiting class that Cal head coach Teri McKeever signed last month - posted a time of 2:09.89 with her third-place finish in the 200 back.
