Trojan Diving Invitational Day 2 Results

LOS ANGELES - California junior Kelsey Heiken finished eighth and sophomore Kahley Rowell placed 10th in the final of the three-meter springboard on Saturday at the Trojan Diving Invitational.

Heiken posted a score of 234.70 in the final after notching a score of 255.80 and taking fifth place in the preliminary round. Rowell, who was sixth (243.45) in the prelim, compiled a score of 223.20 in the final.

USC's Victoria Ishimatsu swept the three events - including the platform and one-meter board Friday - over the two-day meet, scoring 333.55 to win at three meters.

Golden Bear senior Molly Hayes (15th, 215.50), senior Alissa Barker (18th, 196.35) and freshman Samara White (19th, 190.20) competed in the three-meter prelim but did not reach the final.

The Cal divers are back in action at the Wildcat Diving Invitational slated for Nov. 18-20 in Tucson, Ariz.
