CAL SUCCESS
Capped a stellar first year with multiple 2011 NCAA championships - the team title, 200- (American- and NCAA-record 1:35.03) and 400-yard medley relay (school- and pool-record 3:28.53) crowns and 100-yard backstroke (51.30) title. Edged teammate Deborah Roth (51.51) for the 100-back victory.
At 2011 Pac-10s, won the 100 back with the second-fastest time in school history (51.22) behind Natalie Coughlin's 49.97.
Swam the backstroke legs of the 2011 Pac-10 winning 200 (1:35.62) and 400 (3:28.99) MRs.
Also took ninth in the 100 butterfly (52.68), ninth in the 200 back (1:55.13) at the 2011 conference meet. Her 200-back time ranked her seventh fastest in school history.
At the AT&T Short Course National Championships in December 2010, swam the backstroke leg of the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:36.79) and placed fourth in the 100 back (52.90).
At the ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships in August 2011, finished seventh in the 100-meter backstroke (1:01.35).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB SUCCESS
All-American broke Natalie Coughlin's 1998 national high school record in the 100-yard backstroke with a winning time of 51.85 at the CIF-SS Division I Championships.
Also snapped Coughlin's 1998 U.S. national 15-16 age-group record in the 100-yard back with a time of 52.52.
Also swims for the Golden West Coast Swim Club.
At the 2010 NCSA Junior National Championships, she won the 200-yard back (1:56.16), took second in the 100 back (53.59), finished second in the 50 back (24.56) and placed ninth in the 50 freestyle (23.50).
Took sixth with GWSC's 400-meter free relay at the 2009 Speedo Junior National Championships.
NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS
Competed in the 100-and 200-meter breaststrokes at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials.
Member of the 2010-11 and 2008-09 U.S. junior national teams.
Swam for the NCSA All-Star Team at the 2010 Irish Long-Course Swimming Championships, taking second in the 50-meter back (29.95) and 10th in the 200 back (2:29.94).
