Junior Claims 400 IM and 100 Breaststroke in Georgia Fall Invitational

CAL SUCCESS
• At the 2011 NCAA Championships, was part of Cal's 1-2 finish in the 100-yard backstroke, taking second place (51.51) behind Cindy Tran (51.30) in the final. Roth, whose final time ranked her third-fastest in Cal history in the 100 back, placed first in the 100-back prelim with a time of 51.61.
• Garnered two All-America honors at 2011 NCAAs, by also finishing eighth in the 200 back (1:53.80). Her prelim time of 1:52.96 was Cal's fastest last season and ranked her second-fastest in school history.
• Placed eighth in the 100 backstroke (54.17), 15th in the 200 back (1:58.31) and 16th in the 200 free (1:50.11) at the 2011 Pac-10 Championships.
• Finished fifth in the 100 back (53.20) at the 2010 U.S. Short Course National Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB SUCCESS
• High school All-American also swam for the North Bay Aquatics club.
• Named the 2010 Redwood High School Athlete of the Year.
• Set high school records in the 200-meter individual medley, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 free and 500 free...set six club records.
