• Swam a time of 16:21.19 (30th) in the 1650-yard freestyle at the 2009 NCAA Championships...clocked a personal record of 4:41.81 in the 500 free at NCAAs.
• At the 2009 Pac-10 Championships, finished fourth in the 1650-yard freestyle in a time of 16:18.84, Cal's second-fastest time of the season...swam an NCAA B qualifying time of 1:47.81 in the 200 free to place 15th...posted an NCAA B time of 4:43.45 to finish sixth in the 500 free; that time ranks eighth at Cal in the all-time list.
• Garnered 2009 Pac-10 all-academic honorable mention.
• Battled a back injury throughout the entire 2008 campaign.
