2008 OLYMPICS
Qualified for the 2008 Beijing Summer Games in the 4x200m freestyle relay for her native New Zealand.
CAL SUCCESS
Garnered honorable mention All-America honors with an 11th-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle in a personal-record 4:38.99 at the 2009 NCAA Championships...also swam in the 1650 free (16:17.03, 26th).
At the 2009 Pac-10 Championships, won the 1650-free title in a personal- and Cal-record time of 15:56.93 and swam the third leg of the winning 800-free relay, which clocked a then-school, then-Pac-10 and Pac-10 meet record time of 6:56.87...placed second in the 500 free (4:39.06)...finished 13th in the 200 free (1:47.59).
Earned 2009 Pac-10 all-academic second-team honors.
2008 All-American (1650-yard free, 800-yard free relay, 500- yard free).
Broke the then-school record in the 1650-yard free with a fifth-place finish and then-PR16:01.80 at the 2008 NCAA Championships (she posted a 16:03.51 at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships to break the previous record, which had stood for 20 years).
Set a program record (and a personal best) in the 1000 free with a time of 9:42.14 at Stanford (2/16/08).
Set Cal's dual-meet record in the 1650 with a time of 16:33.40 at UCLA (2/2/08).
2008 Pac-10 All-Academic second-team selection.
INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS
Represented New Zealand at the 2007 and 2005 World Swimming Championships...also competed in the 2006 Commonwealth Games, earning a bronze in a medley relay and the 2006 Pan Pacific Championships.
