Cal Women's Swimming Signs Four to Letters of Intent

Berkeley -- The University of California women's swim team has signed four high school athletes-Loni Burton, Erin Corn, Andi Finlay and Alice Henriques-to letters of intent during the early signing period, it was announced by head coach Teri McKeever.

Burton, from Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, is the Central Coast Section record holder in the 200 free (1:49.44) and 100 fly (55.30).

Corn is from Poway High School in Poway, where she was a 1997 Junior National finalist. She has bests of 1:05.80 in the 100 breast and 2:22.00 in the 200 breast.

Finlay attends Menlo School in San Jose and was the 1995 Junior National champion in the 100 back (55.66). She also has swam a 2:03.35 in the 200 back and a 57.96 mark in the 100 fly.

Henriques is from George School in New Town, Penn. She was a finalist at the 1997 Spring Nationals and best times include 2:02.40 in the 200 fly, 2:01.80 in the 200 back, 4:22.90 in the 400 IM and 10:02.33 in the 1000 free.
