BERKELEY - Just in time for this weekend's epic series between No. 1 California and No. 13 Arizona, Cal Athletics has installed 704 more seats at Levine-Fricke Field. With the addition of the new seats - which are in the outfield - crowd capacity at Levine-Fricke Field more than doubles.
The last homestand - against then-No. 3 Washington on March 30 and April 1 - saw record attendance figures. On the April 1 doubleheader, there were an incredible 680 fans in attendance.
The Golden Bears have three more key home series this season, beginning with the Wildcats this weekend. The three-game series with Arizona begins Friday, April 13 at 3 p.m. Things continue with a special alumni day on April 14 at 1 p.m. The series closes April 15 at noon at Levine-Fricke Field.
Cal hosts No. 17/16 UCLA for three games from April 27-29. The home schedule and regular season conclude with a three-game series against No. 3/4 Arizona State from May 10-12. For game times, please consult the CalBears.com schedule.
Adult tickets are $8 and seniors (age 65 and above) are $4. Cal students and youth 12th grade and under get in free to all softball games. Gates open at Levine-Fricke Field one hour before first pitch. Tickets can be purchased on game days starting an hour and a half before the start of the game. Ticket booths are located at the front entrance of Levine-Fricke Field.

A portion of Witter Lot is available for the public to purchase parking spots, based on a first-come, first-served basis. Besides Witter Lot, the closest parking lots are the Boalt Hall Lot & Bowles Hall Lot. These lots are located on the west and north sides of Memorial Stadium, respectively. They are both a short - but uphill - walking distance from Levine-Fricke Field and Strawberry Canyon. Rim Way Lot along the East Rim of Memorial Stadium is reserved for construction parking. Fans can also park in the Underhill Lot and Botanical Garden Lot. Please read all parking signage very carefully to avoid citations. Cal Softball will not be running shuttles to the Underhill Lot this season.
