BERKELEY - Cal softball is back in action this spring, and fans can once again have an up-front view by joining the Ninemire Blue and Gold Team, which offers reserved seating and parking for all Golden Bear regular-season home games. After having reached the Women's College World Series the past two years, Cal is ranked third in the 2013 preseason polls. By donating $1,000 or more to Golden Bear softball, Ninemire Blue and Gold Team members will receive the following benefits:
2013 Ninemire Blue and Gold Team Registration Form Finding parking and seats at Levine-Fricke Field before the first pitch can be extremely stressful. Parking around Strawberry Canyon is always at a premium and the gates do not open until an hour before the first pitch. As a member of the Ninemire Blue and Gold Team, your parking spot and seats are guaranteed to be available, allowing you to relax and simply enjoy the game. By pledging your support to the Golden Bears, fans can be part of a team that is not only defending a Pac-12 title, but sports a two-time first-team All-American and conference Pitcher of the Year in senior Jolene Henderson. Head coach Diane Ninemire, the reigning Pac-12 Coach of the Year, enters her 26th season at the help with more than 1,100 victories. With seven Pac-12 schools ranked in the top 25 in the USA Today/NFCA preseason poll, Blue and Gold Team participants won't miss a minute of the conference battle this season.
