Jordan's father, Melvin, played with the San Diego Chargers. Her mother, Wendy, lettered in softball at Sacramento State. Why I have my number: I do pretty much everything in pairs, so I only like even numbers. Plus, Derek Jeter (one of my future husbands) wears No. 2 and he was always a favorite of mine growing up. Pre-game Rituals: I do everything in pairs. I drink Dr. Pepper before and during games, have a purple pack of skittles before the game, eat pineapple with my pregame meal, listen to the same playlist and write the same few words on my wristband in black permanent marker. Walk-up Songs: "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" by Marilyn Monroe because she is one of my favorite people and the song is different than my usual choice of music..."Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer because the song makes me laugh. |
