Golden-Bear Influence: One of the leading influences is LaRisa Jones' decision to come to Cal was the presence of former Cal softball players. Hailing from nearby Concord, Calif., Jones grew up around former players and watched many a game at Levine-Fricke Field. Why I have my number: My favorite number is 12 but it was taken, so 12+12=24 and double is always better. Game Superstitions: Alex (Robben) and I have to be back-to-back during every defensive huddle.
