Sister, Sister:
Though they may have strikingly different hair, Danielle is the younger sister of junior Jolene Henderson. Jolene often comments that she made Danielle choose Cal so that Danielle wouldn't hit homers off her. Though he's not on the softball team, the middle Henderson sibling - David - is also a student at Cal.
Dr. Hendu:
Danielle would love a career as a pediatrician because she finds it amusing to entertain little kids. She has always found an interest in the medical field because doctors and nurses change people's lives every day.
Why I Wear My Number:
"I've had the number 8 since I started softball. I started with it because it was my mom's favorite number and I have had it ever since! When I didn't make the all-star team and was in tears, my sister took number 8 for me."
My Walk-Up Songs Are:
"My first walk up song is "Slight Work" by Wale. I made it my walk up song because every time I go into the batter's box, I remember that I have worked hard for that very moment, so I should just relax and have some fun. My next walk up song is "Oh Let's Do It" by Lil Wayne because it gets me pumped up to go up to bat. When I hear that Lil Wayne song, it reminds me of let's get it done right here, right now. I have fun with it."
