Cal Women's Soccer to Host Postgame Clinics

Sept. 3, 2010

BERKELEY - The unbeaten No. 21/19 California women's soccer team is hosting two free postgame clinics for local kids to learn from the Golden Bears. Following the Hawaii match on Sunday, Sept. and the Oct. 30 game against Stanford, the Bears will help teach local soccer players how to live like champions.

Those who participate will have a 45-minute soccer and life-skill instruction by both the coaching staff and members of the team. These clinics are open to all and are a great way to improve your skills and better understand Cal women's soccer team culture.

This season, Cal has instituted a new "Live Like Champions" philosophy, part of which involves giving back to the community that offers so much support to the Bears. The clinics will offer the Bears a manner in which to share their knowledge and promote the team's commitment to "Live like Champions".
