Cal Defeats UC Santa Barbara in Home Opener
BERKELEY, Calif. -- The California women's soccer team improved its record to 2-2-1, defeating UC Santa Barbara, 1-0, Friday afternoon in Berkeley, Calif. It was the Bears first home match of the season after playing four straight away from Witter Field.
Cal's Natalie Stuhlmueller scored the game's lone goal on an assist from Tami Pivnick at the 78-minute mark of the match.
