TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The California women's soccer team saw its 2009 campaign and NCAA Tournament hopes come to an end with a 3-0 loss at the hands of No. 1-seed and host Florida State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Sunday afternoon at the Seminole Soccer Complex. The Seminoles (18-4-1) scored two first-half goals to build an insurmountable lead over the Golden Bears (11-9-1).
Lisa Kevorkian, who had five shots and a goal against Auburn, had the first attempt 1:20 into the game with a shot that went wide. Alex Morgan forced the first save for either side in the ninth minute with a shot that FSU keeper Erin McNulty grabbed.
