Stuhlmueller is arguably one of the best outside midfielders in the Pac-10...is a legitimate 2000 All-America candidate...has shown great poise and a knack for scoring big goals...also is a great playmaker...can take people on and serve a ball into tight spaces...excellent one-v-one player...runs at people at full speed...handles double teams very well.
CAL: 1999: Joined Tami Pivnick as the only players to start all 21 of Cal's games...selected first team All-Pac-10 for the second-consecutive season...named to the third team All-West Region NSCAA and Soccer Buzz teams...tied for team-high honors with 8 assists, which tied for second in the league...the 8 assists also tied for third in Cal's season record book...named MVP of the Cal Invitational.
1998: A first team All-Pac-10 choice...also named second team All-West Region by both the NSCAA and Soccer Buzz...was one of only three Bears to start every match...finished the year tied for second on the team in scoring with 14 points (6G, 4A)...four of her goals were game-winners...tied for 16th in the Pac-10 in scoring...scored Cal's lone goal in the Bears 2-1 NCAA Tournament loss at Pacific...had two game-winning goals in Cal's first three games, including the 1-0 win over Montana...added her third game-winner of the season vs. Arizona...also scored in the 88th minute at Saint Mary's to give Cal a 1-0 victory over the Gaels.
1997: Finished her freshman season second on the team with 11 points...took only 20 shots on the year but made them count, registering four goals...three of the four goals were game-winners (UCSB, Washington State and Arizona)...recorded her first collegiate goal in her first game, Cal's 5-2 win over Utah.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: A four-year starter at Los Gatos HS...named De Anza League MVP and earned All-CCS honors as a senior...selected to the all-league first team and named to the All-CCS second team as a junior...helped Los Gatos HS win four-consecutive league titles (1994-97)...helped lead her club team, Central Valley Express, to 1995 U17 state, regional and national club championships...a member of the ODP state team...also ran track in HS...enjoys kickboxing...sociology major...parents are Dan and Yota Stuhlmueller of Los Gatos...born July 18, 1979 in San Jose.
