Alex Morgan off the Pitch:

Full Name: Alexandra Patricia Morgan

I Chose Cal because...I wanted to be a part of the Cal soccer family, and I wanted to go to a school recognized for academics. Oh, and you won't find any city like Berkeley, and I love it!

My favorite thing about the Bay Area is...BART! I take it all the time into the City.

Something on my iPod that might surprise you is...Kings of Leon. I love that band.

The most interesting thing I did this summer was...I went to Madrid for a month to learn Spanish...and I came back fluent! Well...almost fluent.

When I'm upset, I like to...talk to my boyfriend or my parents.

I get mad when I miss these TV shows: "Lost" and "Gossip Girl"

The best moment in sports history was when...I scored in the U-20 World Cup final. The first few seconds after, I really couldn't even believe what just happened. I just stood there, shocked. It's definitely a moment I will always remember.

Cal is better than other schools because...we have tradition! I mean, we were the first public school established in California!

Something I learned from my parents is...that it takes a long time to build trust, but it can be lost in a instant. Gain trust from others and keep it. Thanks Mom and Dad!

If I wasn't a soccer player, I would be...a volleyball player. If not that, a softball player. I'm too competitive not to play a sport!

Do you have any hidden talents? I bake the best funfetti cake, well at least I think I do! I am also sort of a human alarm clock. When I need to wake up at a certain time, I will set my alarm clock, but I always wake up three minutes before my alarm clock goes off!

What is one thing about your hometown that you miss? My friends, my car and my house that I moved into when I was three.

Which words of phrases do you overuse? "Dude," though I don't know why, "are you serious???" And "you crazy"
