The Cal lacrosse team is pleased to announce the 2004 Cal Presidents' Day Developmental, Advanced & Team Clinic!

Come join the exceptional Cal coaching staff for the seventh annual clinic. Cal varsity lacrosse coaches Jill Malko, Mary Beth Noel, and Jen Nardi will be joined by current Cal lacrosse players.

Developmental & Goalie Clinic: Feb. 14 & 15 from 9 AM - 3 PM

Advanced & Team Camp: Feb. 14 from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Feb. 15 from 9 AM - 3 PM

All camps: Optional playing showcase. Monday, Feb. 16 from 9 AM - Noon. There will be full field games and 3 v 3 play.

Where: The University of California, Berkeley's Maxwell Field and Memorial Stadium (Directions below)

Cost: Per Player $175 Team discount: $1400 (discount of $10 per player when 8 register at once). All campers are eligible for a team discount when they register as a group of 8 or more.

By Mail: University of California Women's Lacrosse 305A Strawberry Canyon Center Centennial Drive Berkeley, CA 94720-4426 If enrolling by mail, all applications must be postmarked by February 1st. Fax, on-line and on-site registrations after that.

On-Site: Campers may register day of clinic (with completed and signed forms) but space is limited to first come first serve. Call 510-643-4511 up until the day prior for availability.

Payments: Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. Please make checks payable to "UC Regents" Refund Policy: No refunds, transfers or credits.

Other Clinic Details: New this year, the NFHS Mandates Eye Protectors in Girls Lacrosse for 2004 Season. It is mandatory that all high school players have goggles for our clinic or they will be unable to participate. We strongly recommend that youth players wear protective eyewear at our clinics. Limited quantities will be available for sale during registration on Saturday, February 14th

Maxwell & Memorial Fields are artificial turf surfaces. Turf shoes and sneakers are appropriate.

Need a stick? You can borrow one for the day with a $60 stick deposit.

All clinics held rain or shine.

Directions to Maxwell Family Field (formerly Kleeberger Field)

FROM I-80 (San Francisco/points North and West): Take University Ave. exit off I-80. Travel until University Ave. dead-ends at Oxford Street. Turn left onto Oxford. Go two blocks, turn right at Hearst (up hill). Take Hearst six blocks, turn right onto Gayley Road (second light). Turn left on Stadium Rim Way (at stop sign). Turn right immediately past the turf field (Maxwell Family Field) and enter the parking lot. Go straight through into the stadium (North Auto Gate). Park along the right side, not in the spaces reserved for University of California coaches.

FROM HWY. 24 WEST (Contra Costa): After the tunnel, take the Ashby/Hwy. 13 exit. Take Ashby Ave. until you reach College Ave. (at the Wells Fargo/Café Roma). Turn right. Go approx. one mile, turn right onto Durant. At the stop sign, turn left onto Piedmont Ave. Piedmont Ave. turns into Gayley Road. Pass the stadium, then turn right onto Stadium Rim Way. Follow I-80 directions from there.

FROM HWY. 24 EAST (Oakland/San Francisco/Points South): Take the Martin Luther King, Jr./51st St. exit off Highway 24 and stay left onto MLK. Go several miles. Just past Alcatraz, bear right onto Adeline (BART station ahead). Turn right off of Adeline onto Ashby. Go approx. one mile, turn right onto Durant. At the stop sign, turn left onto Piedmont Ave. Piedmont Ave. turns into Gayley Road. Pass the stadium, then turn right onto Stadium Rim Way. Follow I-80 directions from there.
