BERKELEY, Calif. - Junior Liz Reifsnyder was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week for scoring a hat trick in California's season-opening 9-6 upset of MPSF rival and 17th-ranked Stanford on Saturday, Feb. 18, at Memorial Stadium. Reifsnyder also earned the Inside Lacrosse Magazine Player of the Week award yesterday for her performance against the Cardinal.

Reifsnyder earned two MPSF Player of the Week honors as a sophomore in 2005, when she was the Golden Bears' second-leading scorer with 49 points (31 goals, 18 assists).

Cal next hosts 18th-ranked Notre Dame at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and Ohio State at 12 p.m. on Sunday in Memorial Stadium.
